Southern Comfort

The Collective’s First Contemporary Production

Southern Comfort was a departure for the company in 1999. After producing lots of historical based work, it was a contemporary comedy about life in modern Cornwall.

Devised by the all female company using methods similar to those used by Mike Leigh and then penned by Justin Chubb, it toured Cornwall to lots of laughter and then transferred “over the border” to The Bird’s Nest Theatre in London.
