Clever As Paint was written by Canadian playwright Kim Morrissey and toured by the collective in 1999. The production was directed by Rosie Hughes.

A stark insight into the loves and lives of the pre-Raphaelites it was a challenging production that enjoyed great praise in Cornwall and in London at the Finborough Theatre.
